From Alexander Ann to Tay Lang Photo: A Fresh Chapter in Colorado


I’m so excited to officially introduce you to Tay Lang Photo – the new name, same joyful heart behind the lens. For those of you who’ve been following my journey from the beginning, you might know me as Alexander Ann Photography, but a lot has changed since I first picked up my camera – and it’s time my brand reflects that.


Let me tell you the story.

A Creative Start in Minneapolis


My journey into photography wasn’t typical. I actually began as a visual artist back in Minneapolis, pouring creativity into paintings and mixed media pieces. But when I moved to West Lafayette, Indiana to help plant a church, I felt a shift. Art stayed with me, but it started looking a little different – through a lens instead of a brush. I fell head over heels for capturing real, raw, joy-filled moments – and just like that, photography happened.


What started as a side passion quickly became a business. I launched Alexander Ann Photography, named after my middle names. But as my business grew, I noticed something funny: clients would ask, “Who’s Alexander?” And I’d have to explain that it was still me – Taylor Langeland, the girl behind the camera.

Rebranding with Purpose


Fast forward to today, and I’m rebranding to Tay Lang Photo – a name that feels fresh, personal, and undeniably me. It’s short, sweet, and easy to remember. Most importantly, it brings my face and my artistry to the forefront. My goal in this rebrand? To grow from a small-town creative into a recognizable, trusted, and elevated wedding photography brand rooted in personal connection and high-end style.


Tay Lang Photo is more than a new name – it’s a vision. A promise. An invitation into a luxurious, joyful wedding photography experience that’s as memorable as the day itself.


Why Colorado??


This summer, I’m trading the cornfields of Indiana for the mountains of Denver, Colorado, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. As a Denver Colorado wedding photographer, I’m excited to serve couples who love stunning scenery, golden light, and timeless, editorial-style images that feel like something out of a magazine – but with heart and all the imperfect moments. Whether you're planning a mountaintop elopement, a downtown Denver classy wedding, or a classic vineyard wedding, Tay Lang Photo is here to capture every meaningful moment.


And for my Minneapolis and Lafayette couples – don’t worry! You’ll still see me around. I’m continuing to book travel for weddings and engagements in Minnesota, Indiana, and beyond.
