What Is an Associate Photographer (and Why We Do It)
When I relocated from Indiana to Austin, I didn’t want to stop serving my amazing couples here — so I built an Associate Wedding Program that lets you still experience the full Tay Lang Photo style, even when I can’t personally be there on your wedding day.
An associate photographer is another professional photographer that I’ve personally handpicked and trained to shoot weddings with the same direction, posing, and emotional focus that I bring to every event. They’re not second shooters, they’re experienced professionals who know how to work seamlessly with couples, bridal parties, and timelines.
Here’s how it works:
- You’ll communicate directly with me throughout the process.
- I handle planning, communication, editing, and final gallery delivery, so your images maintain the Tay Lang Photo look and quality.
- On your wedding day, your associate photographer steps in as your lead shooter — capturing your story with the same care and consistency.
- The end result? The same timeless, heartfelt photos you fell in love with , just at a lower price point and no travel fees.
Many of my 2025 and 2026 weddings have been associate-shot, and my couples have absolutely loved the experience and results.
